Dr Katherine Duong
After completing her Masters of Clinical Optometry at UNSW, Katherine developed a strong clinical foundation providing mobile eye services to elderly patients in aged care facilities. This experience fostered her compassionate, patient-centered approach and sparked a particular interest in managing chronic conditions common in the elderly, such as blepharitis and dry eye disease. Katherine enjoys helping patients find relief from these persistent issues, alongside her work in diagnosing and managing cataracts, macular degeneration, and glaucoma.
Building on this diagnostic background, Katherine has a significant focus on specialized contact lens fittings, ranging from soft lenses to advanced overnight Ortho-K. She is particularly known for her patient and gentle nature when working with children, taking the time to guide them through their first "teach and fits" so that both the child and their parents feel confident. Katherine believes in a collaborative approach, working closely with GPs and ophthalmologists to ensure her patients achieve the best possible visual outcomes.
Outside of the clinic, Katherine enjoys staying active in the local community, whether she’s swimming at the local pool or enjoying long walks around the Canada Bay area.

With over 10 years of experience in the industry, she has worked in various practices across Sydney, including school visits where she has honed her expertise in children’s vision.
Anna is a passionate advocate for myopia control to minimise the progression of short-sightedness in children and the long term health impacts it comes with. She has developed effective treatment plans involving orthokeratology, atropine eye drops and myopia control spectacles to help children improve their vision and prevent further deterioration.
Outside of the clinic, she loves to travel, having visited Japan three times now! Her most memorable experience was seeing the cherry blossoms and having omakase at a Michelin star restaurant in Tokyo.
